Description
FINALLY Finished a request for Regina the Evil Queen, Emma Swan, and Captain Hook. I don't usually embroider on faces but all things considering they didn't turn out half bad. I really wanted each face to have something unique - especially Regina!
Now let's talk about...Regina's Dress! Regina took about 92 hours at least to make maybe another 24 hours. It's actually felt with a metallic glittery lace overlay (fancy!). Although truthfully I wasn't worried about her dress, I was pretty unsure about how to overlay the felt. I experimented with mod podge but it turned the fabric opaque :/ taking away the glamour- I couldn't have that! So I broke out my trusted old $70 sewing machine
and it worked like a charm.
Furthermore, it gave me some ideas for my own design for a Queen of Hearts doll x3.
No, unfortunately there is no pattern for any of these dolls. If a good number of people really really REALLY want the pattern, I'll add it to my list but heed my warning: each doll took me at LEAST 72 hours, then again I was making it up as I went so...
